The Decaf coffee from the Berlin roastery Coffee Circle is a single origin with 100% Arabica coffee beans from Colombia. The wet processing of the coffee cherries before roasting creates a particularly clear and nuanced taste profile. The aromas are reminiscent of dried fruits and cinnamon. Overall, the Coffee Circle Decaf tastes pleasantly sweet and full-bodied.

The origin of the coffee beans

Coffee Circle obtains green coffee from the Colombian cooperative Unichaparral from the Tolima region for the roasting of Decaf coffee. The coffee plants of the Arabica variety Castillo are cultivated by more than 200 small farmers at an altitude of about 1700 meters. The coffee beans are treated with the utmost care from the cultivation of the coffee plants, through the wet processing and decaffeination to roasting.

Coffee Circle acts in a particularly socially conscious manner: The Berlin roastery pays fair purchase prices to the farmers and cooperatives and invests €1 per kilogram of coffee sold in social projects in coffee regions in Africa and South America.
