The coffee beans are grown in the renowned Huila growing region in Colombia and belong to the Tabi variety. Huila is internationally known for its top quality coffee cultivation. Finca San Gabriel has been proudly owned by the Ospina family for more than five decades and has been passed down from generation to generation until it is finally in the hands of Graciela Rodriguez Ospina and her siblings, who successfully run the farm today. Graciela is strongly committed to ensuring that women have the freedom to carry out any task they wish on the site, be it growing, harvesting or processing. Graciela emphasizes that supporting the women in the day-to-day running of the farm is the key factor in their success.
