Sophisticated design for perfect coffee enjoyment

A characteristic of the ceramic dripper is that it stores heat particularly well. The cone shape of the filter with a 60 degree angle of inclination, which is steeper than conventional hand filters, creates a thicker layer of coffee, giving the coffee more depth. What also distinguishes the Hario V60 from conventional hand filters is its single, but larger bottom opening. This provides less resistance, resulting in a faster turnaround time. The curved grooves on the inside of the filter ensure constant water circulation and a constant movement of the coffee during brewing thanks to their shape and the wide spaces in between. They also ensure that the filter paper is kept away from the wall of the dripper to allow the coffee to develop its aroma to the maximum. Due to the unique bottom opening, however, the pressure on the inserted filter also increases, which is why it is advisable to use strong filters here. The Dripper 01 is ideal for up to 2 cups.
