The cold brew maker from GOAT Story consists of the smartly designed, darkened borosilicate glass, an airtight lid and the removable filter. The fine-meshed filter fits perfectly into the lid and sits in the middle of the cold brew maker. The glass is suitable for preparing around 800 ml of cold brew coffee and the filter is reusable.
Cold Brew Preparation
Preparing cold brew with the GOAT Story brewer is incredibly easy. Simply fill the filter with freshly ground coffee and top up with cold water. After about 12 hours at room temperature or 24 hours in the refrigerator, the cold coffee is ready. GOAT Story recommends a ratio of water to coffee of 1:6 to 1:8 when making a cold brew concentrate, or 1:10 to 1:16 as a "ready to drink" cold brew, depending on the desired strength and choice of beans. The degree of grinding should be a little coarser.
