Single Dosing with Eureka Mignon Mills

The Eureka Mignon coffee grinders are among the most popular coffee grinders in recent years. The reason for this is the good quality of the machines, the regrind and, last but not least, the attractive price. In recent years, more and more home baristas have opted for a new workflow: single dosing. Here, the required amount of beans for the desired preparation is weighed and then only as many coffee beans are put into the grinder as are needed. The mill is then ground completely empty. In this way, you can work with little waste and the beans can be stored optimally. Single dosing also enables flexible switching between different types of coffee beans. In principle, the Eureka Mignon grinders are well suited for single dosing - various tests have shown that they retain comparatively little ground coffee.

Perfect for conversion

The right bean container makes single dosing with the Eureka Mignon much easier. Not only the slim design knows how to please. The small slide, with which the beans are thrown into the running grinder can be perfectly controlled and so-called popcorning, i.e. the last beans jumping around when they come into contact with the grinding discs, is prevented, is also very useful. Last but not least, the compatibility with Eureka's in-house blow-up cleaning system is also interesting. The corresponding elastic collar, which is also available as a spare part, can be placed between the lid and the bean container so that when the lid is pressed down, a blast of air blows the last residue of the ground coffee out of the grinder.
