The Costadoro Decaffeinato is a decaffeinated espresso that is made by Costadoro with great attention to detail. For this decaffeinated coffee, as well as for all other varieties, only the best washed bean varieties of highland coffee from Central and South America are used. Each variety is slowly roasted separately and in small batches at a constant temperature in a rotary drum in order to combine the optimal properties of each individual bean variety into a perfect coffee. The elaborate roasting of the coffee beans is an important step in ensuring the unique taste of Costadoro Decaffeinato. The beans are roasted slowly and gently until they reach a medium roast level. This process preserves the full aroma spectrum of the high-quality coffee beans and ensures an incomparable taste. Only after the beans have cooled are they combined to form a perfect mixture, also known as a blend. Each type of bean contributes to optimizing the coffee, be it for the fullness, the aromatics, the perfect acidity, the fruit notes, the body, the volume or the lasting spice and length.
