The Comandante mills are delivered with the standard axle. With this set you have the option of installing a new axle plus thread to double the grinding level of your Comandante mill. The Red Clix RX35 grinding level adjuster is an excellent choice for Comandante users who want to focus on making espresso or finely ground coffee. It is also an essential option for experienced coffee professionals who want to use their Comandante grinder in competitions and require maximum control over their grind settings. The main difference to the standard axis is the target grinding level per click. For the standard axis this is 30 microns. With the included Red Clix RX35 axle this is 15 microns. With this set we take very, very fine steps in setting the grinding level. With this set you now have even more options when preparing coffee, so that your espresso always turns out perfectly.

Easy installation for a new grinding experience

To install the Red Clix RX35 grinding level adjuster in your grinder, first disassemble your Comandante as if you wanted to clean it. Be sure to follow the instructions for use of your grinder. Turn the grinding level adjuster all the way until the cone comes out. Remove the standard axle and the grinding degree adjuster from your Comandante mill. Then place the washer in with the flat side facing outwards. Then the new axle comes in through the washer. Install this in the same way as the standard axle. Then the crank thread comes onto the mill body. The second washer is now positioned on the inside; the raised side of the washer must be in contact with the ball bearing. Now the cone including the spring is inserted. Finally, the thread provided is screwed onto the axle. It is important to proceed with caution as the thread is very fine. You can now start your grinding process and refine your grinding settings even further.
