The design of the Ascaso Steel UNO PID is straightforward. The dimensions of the machine are compact, so that it can be easily integrated into smaller kitchens. The single-circuit machine is operated via four toggle switches and is ready for use after a short warm-up time of around 6-8 minutes. The built-in cup warmer ensures that cups are always preheated. The high-performance thermoblock is insulated and ensures the necessary temperature stability in the brewing process. The associated 2 liters enough water for a variety of coffee preparations.. The steam wand offers 360° freedom of movement and is equipped with a no-burn function.

More technical than its little sister

The Steel UNO PID portafilter machine is a further development of the Steel UNO. The PID in the name stands for electronic temperature control, which can be regulated to an accuracy of 1°C. The shot timer can be used to read the throughput time of the espresso. Further innovations include the electronically adjustable pre-infusion and the portafilter made of stainless steel. The brewing pressure can be regulated via an expansion valve. A pressure between 11 and 14 bar is recommended, which can be reliably read on the precision pressure gauge. The stainless steel portafilter of the Ascaso Steel UNO PID holds sieves with a diameter of 58 mm. The barista lights, which impressively illuminate the work surface, are also a special eye-catcher.
